Sean Maison, a junior at the Air Force Academy, won the Mountain West Conference men's cross country individual title at the Jacoby Golf Course in Laramie, Wyoming. Maison covered the 8-kilometer layout in 23:37.8, leading an Air Force sweep of the top three spots and helping the Falcons place five athletes among the first eight finishers to secure a third consecutive men's team title with a 20-47 victory against Colorado State, eclipsing the record for the lowest men's team score of 22 points established by New Mexico in 2012. Maison improved from a 10th-place finish last year at the conference final in Albuquerque, N.M., earning the first individual title by an Air Force male athlete since Isaiah Bragg in 2013.
