Amelia Mazza-Downie, a redshirt sophomore at New Mexico, repeated as Mountain West Conference women's cross country individual champion at the Jacoby Golf Course in Laramie, Wyoming. Mazza-Downie covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:39.3 to help the Lobos place five scorers in the top 10 to secure a 15th consecutive team title with a 24-61 victory against Colorado State. Mazza-Downie, who also won the individual crown last year on her home course in Albuquerque, joined Boise State's Emma Bates (2013-14) and New Mexico's Weini Kelati (2018-19) as the only female athletes in conference history to capture back-to-back titles.
